What to expect  - Here at TJO, we are passionate about fishing and getting people out on the water. We have high expectations for every outing because we know how great the Rappahannock & Rapidan Rivers are. To get started, choose your start time on our booking page. On the day of your trip, our staff will give you a quick river safety run down and go over water and weather conditions for the day. We will launch from the landing of your choice or the one that best fits the day's weather. Shane or Mike will guide you down the river, hitting every spot they know. Our guides have been fishing the river for over 10 years each and will give you the best opportunity to catch your dream fish. We will supply you with a cooler, ice and water for the day.

What to Bring- Being on the water all day in the hot sun can be physically exhausting, so we ask that you be ready for a long day. Also the sun has no friends on the water so sunscreen is a must, a long sleeve fishing shirt, hat and sunglasses will aid in your comfort levels thru out the day. Sometimes the best fishing comes with stopping the boats and getting into the water, but this will not happen if you're not wearing the proper shoes, any closed toed shoes work best ( preferably an old pair). Feel free to bring your phones or cameras we can keep them in water tight boxes. Prepare your own lunch and snacks to last you through out the day.
